Cheng-Hung joined the lab in 2021 and was a PhD student in the Genetics, Genomics, and Bioinformatics program. His work ison ddeveloping methods and application of metagenomics in fungi and soil microbiomes, phylogenomics, and software engineering. He is returned to the lab for a short term postdoc to complete some of his PhD Projects and develop new methods nad software.
