Sadikshya Sharma joined the lab in summer 2022 as an Assistant Specialist to work on the metagenomics and amplicon metabarcoding projects related to the study of Plant and Soil health in Citrus to Enhance Resistance/Tolerance to Huanglongbing. She previously completed a MS degree in Plant Pathology at University of Florida. She has been a PhD student in the GGB program since Fall 2023. She is currently working to infer cis-regulatory networks in Aspergillus. Her work also spans comparative genomics at scale, analyzing roughly 6000 fungal genomes to uncover lineage specific rules governing proteome diversity.
